Hey Everyone!
I've been pretty lazy lately that I haven't been able to read a decent book. But this week I decided to ditch my plans and actually try and improve my vocabulary since my English teacher lectures us pretty much every lesson that we need to learn proper English words in order to get good marks in our HSC.
So, on Friday after school I went to the Bondi library. Remember a few months ago when I came back from Korea I raved on about a book called 'the truth about forever' by Sarah Dessen. Well, since the library sucks and doesn't have the books I wanted to read. A grabbed a couple of books by Sarah Dessen. One's called 'along for the ride' which I have just finished. And another called 'dreamland' reading right now.
As many of you know I'm a bookworm. And when I like a book I rave on about it. Hahaha, sorry it's just coz I'm bored. Right now I'm somewhere in North Sydney in the back seat of my car under a tree (Thank God). According to my highly intellectual skills of judging the temperature it's about 26 degrees. Give or take.
Anyways, back to the book. Let me give you an insight of it.
Title: Along for the ride
Author: Sarah Dessen
It's about an 18 year old girl spending her summer with her ex father, wife and their baby. But she's not just an ordinary girl. She pretty much spends all the time studying and focusing on academics to please her demanding mother.
She lives in a tiny beach town called Colby... And she meets this guy called Eli who was a former star on the bike circuit. And together they go on and about in Colby on the quest for Auden(the girl) to experience the carefree teenage life she's been denied.
But there's some twists.
You have to read the book to find out.
Here's a quote from the blurb:
"you know, if you don't know how to ride a bike, it's nothing to be ashamed of" Eli said.
"I can ride a bike", I said. "I just ... I haven't had the opportunity in a while".
Okay, just arrive at Edgecliff off to buy food in ALDI. They have the best gummy bears. BACK!! Have you tried the $3 chips in the top floor fish shop near Coles? Their chips is great! Just had some. Off to church.
Okay, I'm back. Tired as hell. The kids wanted me to play tips with them. Man, got carpet burn. Those kids are fast or I'm just getting old. It's currently 7:11pm and we're in the car going home (me and dad). Will probably arrive there at around 8:40pm. I hope Sam is doing okay.
Wow, it's 8:15pm and I'm at home. The traffic was so good to us today. I'm on my couch watching some disney movie with the mummy returns guy and the journey to the centre of the earth boy.

Rhodes? Strathfield? West Ryde? And now Lidcombe?

HELLO PEOPLE OF THE WORLD!
HOW ARE YOU?!! I'M... haha... sorry If I scared you.
Anyways, sorry if I haven't been writing blogs up to date lately. I've been really occupied with school work and stress. Hahaha, okay I lied. Not school, just stress. Plus, my neighbors are using the internet 24/7. So, updating my blog is really hard. SOZZIE :(
Anywho, Let me tell you what I've been up to lately. So far, we've been going crazy trying to find a place to move to since the owner of the house is going to kick us out soon ready to get new people in. So, it's probs before next week we have to move, otherwise I'll be homeless.
Seriously, rent out there is so expensive nowadays. I'm going insane!!!
We've been to so many places... Oh, on Saturday we left the house at about 10am to go to Tempe to inspect the apartment. But before that we took a lil visit to IKEA. The thing that I love about IKEA is the food. It's not that delicious but it's worth it a few times throughout the year. Like a small treat for me.
Soon, I got bored just sitting there so I went to salvation army right next door. It's huge. It's way better than the Bondi one. I went through the stuff but most of them were garbage. And the clothes were very old fashioned so I'm guessing all the grandpas and grandmas donate their stuff in. At least the place didn't smell like shit.
Then we went to Tempe apartments to see the place. Dude, apparently the place was a warehouse converted into tiny apartments. Seriously, the agency dudes(Asian) were like no cooking. This is a commercial kitchen so no stir fry. And the apartment is so tiny. A tiny room upstairs(only a bed can fit), a tap and a shower and bath. So we didn't end up renting the place. We practically live at home so I don't think only a bed could suit my needs.
Wanna hear more? Okay.. Haha
We went to west ryde yesterday to check up a house. There are 2 people living there. He warned us that the house was really old, and it's like a jungle. Man, was he right. There were broken things everywhere. He practically fixed half the house up. He was really nice but I'm sorry who can live in a dump like that. Not only that, you can't cook since the gas thing is broken and there are bugs everywhere. I hope the man finds a better house. I feel sorry for him. God bless him.
Wait! There's more!
Just now a few mins ago. We went to Lidcombe to see a townhouse. There was one korean guy living there. He had the awesomest country Korean accent. Omg!! I wanted to record his voice(like the song Sam dong in dream high). Anyway, the place was alright. Pretty small and old. But I can survive. But the owner is really creepy. He wants everything. All our records. Bank statements, tax payments, car rego, house history. Everything .. Just like an agency except he seems like a con man. So, im guessing we're not going to move there.
There are so many more stories to tell. But I'm awfully tired and have to wake up early for tomorrow. I have English homework and I haven't started ( probs do it in the car) and it's due first block. And a music performance(which I have no idea what to perform) and it's second block. So I'm screwed. Night world. Pray for me.

Am I made of 'Real Steel'?
5th February, 2012 (4:25pm)
Hey Everyone!
I started school as a senior student last week.. Man, I'm stressed already. I've just completed my english homework 5 mins ago.. when I was supposed to be doing it last night.. but nope.. I watched 'Real Steel'!!
It was so good! I think about.. 2 months ago. The people I'm living with rented a movie called real steel. The family.. and my dad watched it together. Well, obviously, I was in my room watching korean dramas.. (dream high btw... jason and kim pil sook <3)
Anyway, my dad was really excited and recommended me to watch it... but i was like nah...
Well, yesterday, my mums friend and my family watched it!! It was so good.
It's got Hugh Jackman.. i think.. the wolverine guy in it. And this little kid called Max?.. the main character is so cute. Man, I want to squish him :)
It's like way off into the future when robot boxing is a popular sport. Johnny (hugh jackman) lost all his money from robot boxing. And his ex wife died... max (his son) was supposed to be in his care. But his ex wifes sister wants to adopt him. So he makes an agreement to sell him to them for $100 000.
Max spends his time with Johnny for a few weeks since they're on holidays... Max finds a old old robot boxer in the junkyard. And he trains it.. wow.. it's really good. Just watch the film.
